Sankata Chaturthi Dates 2010
‘Sankatahara’ means ‘one who removes difficulties or obstacles.’ Sankatahara Chaturthi, which comes once in a month on the fourth day of the Krishna Paksha (dark lunar fortnight after the full moon), is an auspicious day for the worship of Lord Ganesha.
When the Sankatahara Chaturthi happens to be a Tuesday, it is called Angaraka Sankatahara Chaturthi and is specially auspicious for performing Parihara poojas for problems related to Mars – Manglik dosh or Kuja Dosham etc.
